The 2024 Super Bowl stadium was 100% powered by solar energy from a Nevada solar installation, according to reports.

Allegiant Stadium, a 1.8-million-square-foot venue, is one of seven NFL stadiums to achieve LEED certification, meeting a specific criteria of sustainable performance.

The Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the U.S., has a large energy demand, as stadium sporting events can require around 5-10 megawatts of energy, enough to power 5,000 homes.
