ERCOT: Just Another Tricky Cooling Demand Day

Despite a week of record demand, buyers and brokers in Texas upped their interest in pricing requests with some market-based risk. ERCOT issued a conservation alert last week as heat index levels consistently topped the 100- degree marks in Dallas and Houston. NYISO participants remained the most focused on fixed-price solutions.
